The Practice Manager is responsible for administering, directing, planning and coordinating all activities in the practice. The Practice Manager effectively utilizes and demonstrates knowledge of human resources, organizational and clinical office policies, procedures and systems; knowledge of medical practices, fiscal management, knowledge of computer systems, spreadsheet and financial systems programs and application; skill in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making to achieve organizational objectives; skill in analyzing practice operations as they relate to financial objectives, costs, staffing and rate level; skill in establishing and maintaining effective communication and working relationships with patients, medical staff, management, staff and the public.
